About the author

Hi there! My name is Stephen and I thank you for visiting my blog. I am a musician that has a passion for teaching and over 30 years experience to share. I started playing when my older brother gave me a guitar and amp. He taught me a few open chords and I continued learning whatever I could from then on.

I can play in multiple guitar styles such as classical, rock, blues, jazz, folk, pop with rock being my main style.  I also have experience in recording, MIDI, transcribing music, ear training, extensive music theory, bass guitar, keyboards, arranging and other topics.

My goal is to provide lessons, tools and resources covering many topics with an emphasis on playing guitar.  With that said, this blog will always be a work in progress.  If you have any questions or need help, please leave a message on my Facebook page.  I tried to allow comments here in the blog but I am getting too much junk.
