Hello and welcome to my original drum method called "Creating drum beats".  My goal for this method is to you how to create your own original drum beats.  I am using Guitar Pro 6 for these tutorials, but any software that notate for drums will do.  Follow along and stop the video as needed.  By following along, you will learn by hands on instead which is more effective than just watching the videos.

in the first episode, I talk about what I call the basic rhythm cells.  I will be altering these basic rhythm cells so please take the time to memorize them.

In the second episdoe, I talk about the importance of accents and how they bring beats to life.  I show how to add accents to quarter and eight notes.

In the second part of episdoe two, I finish off showing how to add accents to the triplet and sixteenth notes.
